Linnea George

Born in 1978 in the United States, Linnea is a professionally trained actor graduating with high honors from the University of Illinois. Her favorite roles include Princess Katherine in HENRY V, Charlotte in PRIVATE FEARS IN PUBLIC PLACES, Queen Aggravain in ONCE UPON A MATTRESS, and working with the prison inmates at San Quentin as Hermia in SUMMER’S NIGHT DREAM with the Marin Shakespeare Company. She has directed musicals, plays, and dance pieces. She worked as an assistant director with the San Jose Opera and West Edge Opera. Linnea is also a professionally trained violinist and Yoga teacher.

In 2015, Linnea moved to Bremen with her German husband and daughter. In 2017, Linnea produced and acted in a one-woman show GROUNDED, a drama by George Brant, a show she is reviving at the bremer shakespeare company in early 2020.

In 2019 Linnea played the vengeful Dorothea in Dorcon Film's feminist mystery-horror extravaganze THE BITTER TASTE, an international feature film set for release in late 2020.
